Free Online Event Registration:
Eventbrite is a totally free event registration service you can use for any size of event. Yes, it's really free. Eventbrite gives you the tools you need to publish an attractive event page on the Web. We also give you all the tools you need to promote your event (including email invitations) and it's all totally free. The only time you EVER get a bill from Eventbrite is if you sell tickets, in which case we ask for a small and very well-deserved fee.
Even though your event is free, the first step in setting up online registration for your event is to create what we call a "ticket type". You create ticket types as part of creating your event. Please don't be confused by the fact that we still call them "tickets" even though they are free. Your event must have at least one ticket type in order to be published. For a free event just name the ticket type whatever you like, type in the number available select "Free" and hit "Save".
Once you have saved your ticket type and published your event, your attendees will be able to easily register for your event online. They simply select the number of attendees and then fill out their information. The experience is smooth and easy. You may wish to take advantage of Eventbrite's custom survey tool to collect additional information of any type from your attendees as they register. It's also very popular to display the attendee list on the event page. All the Eventbrite tools are free!
