How to collect donations on the event page:

The first step in collecting donations on your event page is to create a ticket type

After entering the basic information for the donation ticket type (i.e. ticket title and sales end date), click the link titled "Show" next to Additional Options.  Then check the box next to Donation Format and select SAVE.

When registering, the ticket buyer will have the option of donating a self-designated amount along with or separate from ordering tickets for your event.
